Hi JMO7 (and everyone!), I've just got back from the show and I am so pleased with Nelly. There were only 2 of us in Tack & Turnout because it started really early. We came 2nd but the judge said we would have been first if I had remembered to pick out Nelly's hooves

I can't believe I forgot but there you go. I wouldn't forget next time if I ever entered a T&T class again. Big thanks to everyone who gave me advice. It really helped

I was really nervous so I decided to "throw myself in at the deep end" and entered Bonny Pony (3rd place), M&M In-Hand (2nd place out of 9 so pleased with that and the judge said that I should consider breeding from Nelly because she was a very nice example of the breed) and finally, I entered M&M Ridden and managed to come last because Nelly didn't like the balloons that were released right over the ring (!) or the assorted bangs that they made when they popped.

I feel very happy with her though and the judge came and found me afterwards and said that she hopes we will come back next time and she thinks that we will do a lot better in the ridden class. A good day all in all
