Fireworks laws - who to call?

I agree, I also don't see why they are still sold for garden displays especially since people wanting to hold garden firework parties sometimes need to out do each other so buy bigger and bigger fireworks

Luckily the ponies stand and watch them and the dog and cats are very good, my sympathy to anyone whose pets suffer though but I also dont see what the police would do and personally wouldn't bother them

It is worth checking if your councils environmental health department is interested or has an out of hours number though

Personaly I love ORGANISED displays. Our old dog used to shake until he couldnt stand.
My cob used to panic until I thought he would die of a heart attack, I used to put out flyers round the streets asking that if people had fireworks planned to please let me know so that I could move the horses. I still remember millenium night standing screaming at the neighbours who were letting fireworks off above our stables, I truly believed that my boy would die that night
we have since moved and dont have near neighbours but still pity those that do.
