i believe most horses will be fine, i dont have any issues with mine & my old mare used to stand & watch them.
The YO decided one year to have a display at the yard
but there was nothing we could do about it. We were told to keep the horses in (didnt agree with this bit, but they were firing them over the fields), but we went down to keep an eye on them. Only one out of 12 was a bit twitchy, none of the others really reacted after the first few mins.
MY ADVICE - if they do fire any over the fields check the ground for sticks, bits of plastic & unexploded gun powder. We were finding these things for weeks!!! But other then that take a deep breath & if needs be get some sedaline or similar.
ETA i also dont see much point in fireworks, scare the animals (cats/dogs) half to death, & costs a small fortune to see a pretty bang
Would much rather go to an organised display for a fraction of the price!!!
