Hi, I would be very interested to hear from anyone who knows of a horse who has had lymphangitis/cellulitis/vasculitis and at some time had been fired in the same leg. Pm me if you would prefer. Thanks.
One of my T/B's has had his front tendons fired and suffered with lymphangitis.
He broke down racing as 3yr old, had both legs fired, had a successful career as a racehorse, flat, hurdles and jump, went on to p2p and when he was about 18 had a fairly major bout of lymphangitis.
A strong course of a/b's and all was well.
His leg now fills when stood in for long periods but goes down again on t/o.
He is now 22, retired and is as fat as a lord! And living like one too.
