Hi
Has anyone been to the xc open day at Firle place or know of the course? I am just wondering what the minumus course is like and whether it would be nice for a horse's first time out cross countrying. I would probably go round with a friend to give her a lead if need be.
Any help appreciated
Thankyou

They do have a 2'6 course there but there aren't a huge number of jumps in this course. Are you talking about the bloodhounds open day on sunday? It's not ideal for a first time because you can't really school round, you just have to do the whole course if you see what i mean....??

I thought about taking my 5 yo but decided to go elsewhere for a proper session where i pick and choose fences and repeat them etc. It's a perfect day if you want to school round a BE track though

It is open for schooling tomorrow morning. I am going if anyone wants to join me!

The firle open day is perfect for a first hunter trial as you can't get eliminated! Just go round and jump what you want!
