Well we attempted our first affiliated dressage yesterday in the baking heat, which is better then the rain i suppose lol
To start of, I could say lots about how crappy the venue is *south east* but it would be slander lol...but to say lots of people were unimpressed is a understatement - it was like riding in the middle of a small farm lol. 2 people even came of during there tests because of it!!!
Anyway onto my test - we were doing P17Q and got there with lots of time to chill and warm up unlike my last test. Stupid me had lost her numbers so had to borrow some of Worried1 (Thanks) and also forgot my spurs - but warmed up anyway and she wasn't too bad, would have been better with spurs. So go into the long areana, Star decides there is something scary down the bottom end - to be exact there was 2 poxy pheasants, 2 shetlands hooling around and dogs barking, FANTASTIC
Luckily Star finally settled down and we started the test fine and finished ok, god did my legs ache afterwards trying to keep her forwards and not let her spook lol...
Waited round and watched some other tests - Ill let Worried1 tell you about her test. Results were up and we got 60.41% and 2nd place in restricted woo hoo
so very pleased to get that on our first try and if i had my spurs i think we could have got a bit better - the score sheet said something similar. Yay
