What do you consider to be essentials in your first aid box?

Do you have a favourite product?

Is there a product you'd never use?

Just curious (or nosey!!)

Hibiscrub
Purple Spary
Vetrap
Animalintex
Gaffa Tape
Scissors big and small
Wound powder

This is all I have and all I've needed for the past 5 years (touches wood), altho YO has a massive trunk with allsorts in so I wouldn't get caught short of something. I will be investing in a cool bandage someone had one at camp and it seemed very effective.

Green Oils Gel and Sudocream are essentials. Also can't beat purple spray.

I never use the Iodine spray that came with my first aid kit.

I originally had never used the Leg Cooling Gel that came with my first aid kit but my friend's horse has just hurt its tendon so she has starting using it.

My horse HATES HATES HATES purple spray. I think it stings. I keep trying to remember to use it on myself it I have a cut. If I use it on him he goes beserk and trys to kick which he never would do normally. If it doesn't sting he just must be very vain and not like the purple rinse!!
