First Aid Kit Essentials

Hello All,

After a little mishap in the field earlier (gotta love mares in season) I realised my equine first aid kit needs a top up.

Apart from the usual contents what essentials do you ALWAYS have at the ready?

I would always have thermometer, animalintex, vetrap, cool pack, various lotions and potions (such as purple spray, wound cream, vetricyn and arnica gel) and scissors. Normally have a couple of human bits and pieces in there too.

Anything else I need to add to my shopping list?

My first aid kit is overflowing! I have Gamgee, cotton wool, hibiscrub, vetwrap, duct tape, scissors, purple spray, cooling gel, nappies, baby wipes, bandage tape, human first aid kit, animalintex, thermometer.Plus more I think but can't remember what. If I use something it's always replaced.
