Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum and semi-new to horse ownership. Just a bit of background, I have been sharing/leasing with another girl for about 3 years now. But she had to move, and alas the horse was sold. I have then decided to make the big step forward and purchase my own horse. I had a knowledgeable friend help me find one and I found the perfect horse, a 14.2 gelding, 16 years old with no known breeding called Bossy, but he looks to be a welsh cross of some sort. Anyway, I have had him a few weeks now and he has settled in well, and I'm certainly enjoying him!
I was wondering though, what to put in my first aid kit for him? I never had to do it myself with my old share/lease horse. I have a general idea of what to put, like bandages, thermometer and fly spray. But I'm not really sure for cuts and things like that. Can any recommend me some basic things to put in it?
Thanks so much!
