first aid

does anyone know of a good first aid book that will tell me what to do in even the most minor case such as a little wound?
I'd like something that doesnt have any gory pictures in it.

I think the St John Ambulance does a book.

Bes to go and have a short course at either St. Johns or the Red Cross both are excellent and will help you in practical and as well as theory. They are quite good Fun and the people are very helpful and friendly.
