Meet Billie our first foal of 2007.
Hope the others go as smoothly although she foaled at 8.30 am so kept us waiting all night.
Still a bit crumpled but only 5 hrs old.

No this one is by May I the next one due is a High Tension one when she gets round to it althou due tomorrow.
Think it will be a colt as she always goes late when they are.
 
Grass thats the only paddock with any .
Its just a little paddock that we use when foals are first born.
I wish the rest was like it.

We haven't much grass either yet, and are only just fertilising this week. We've splashed out and had Mole Valley asess what minerals etc we need and spent a bomb on specialist fertilisers. hopefully it will mean more grass, although we have lots of acreage some of it is unusable due to badger setts, and other too steep. We end up with no grass, then too much, then just right most years!
I must go and check when our first foal is due, I know it won't be April as it gets so cold here being high up. Congrats, look forward to more pics later this week.
