Had a go at taking some advert photos of Spooks today, not sure if I am going down the right lines, so I thought I had better ask on here, did a few confo shots in tack, to show he is broken in etc.. will only get to use one picture so want it to be perfect.

What do you think? Any useful comments appreciated

For an advert I would go for the first jumping pic, assuming you are selling him as child's pony. I like the first confo pic too, except saddle swamps his shoulder.

The problem is that by putting up a confo pic, you're advertising to a very limited market. It probably is your target market (M&M pony?) but you're missing a huge chunk of the market who want a smart pony who is also safe and fun.
As a baby, you are unlikely to attract pony club type homes anyway I'd have thought just through an advert. Therfore, if he's for showing the confo pics are best but to be brutaly honest, I dont think he's a very typey section A (correct me if I got the breed wrong!)
I think he'd be a super fun M&M cradle stakes pony for a child that wants to do a bit of PC too, so maybe the jumping pic would be best.....

The saddle with the massive irons makes him look anything but a child's pony! I would rather see him without the saddle if you are not going to use a pic with someone on board.

I don't really like the ridden pics though. Could you borrow a local child and get some pics with someone of the proposed age group riding him? Even taking him to a show and grabbing the nearest competent jockey would do the trick! But you would need to borrow their saddle as well!!!!
