Afternoon all - I have my first ever BD regionals at Addington in a weeks time and am trying to make sure I remember everything!

So far I have on my list:

Saddle, bridle, numnah, girth, bridle number.
Haylege, hard feed, water buckets
My jods, stock shirt, stock, jacket, hat, boots, gloves, spurs
Non riding clothes + waterproofs etc
Food & drink for me
Horses passport

So tell what I have forgotten!

:) TIA!

It's our first regionals too next weekend (northern region), we're not staying away but from experience of staying away for other stuff:

A good torch
Clothes for every season (and more socks than you think you need)
Suncream
Waterproofs (lots of)
Some sort of alarm clock (or a charger if you are using your phone)
Extra feed if you want to give an extra lunch or snack
Wine!

Good luck!

Rugs
Stock pin
Hairnet

Most of all have lots of fun, it's a real achievement to qualify, and don't forget to pick up your plaque :)

Ah yes - must try and remember to pick up my plaque! Hairnet isn't needed, stock pin lives in the lorry on the end of my stock :)

Yes - lots of clothes - I don't very often travel away with my horse but always seem to have a miniscule amount of stuff for me and an absolute mountain for my horse (same applies when we are at home though :D )!

Remember your smile and enjoy it! Good luck!

I had my first regionals there this time last year!!

Excited / nervous - luckily I have a friend coming with me to remind me to eat while we're up there!! ;)

If you're staying over do you have mucking out tools? Grooming and plaiting kits? Boots or bandages? And good luck :)

I am one of those rare BD-ers who is minimal on both boots / bandages and plaiting kit! ;) THank you ! :)

Good luck :)

Thank you! :)

I am working hard to convince myself that I am excited and not nervous! Although I know a lot of my pre-show anxieties are more about travelling rather than the riding bit of it! But I'm still super pleased that I have qualified my little old un-dressagey mare!
