Can anyone recommend a First BE Novice, Im based in Suffolk. I was thinking Burnham Market, but abit worried as I need to enter now but reallty it depends how Poplar Park and Great Witchingham go!!!

Little Downham is nice. BM is OK too, ground can be iffy there, but should be OK in April SJ up to height. Brigstock is big.

Best to enter and plead a transfer if it goes wrong.

We shall be at Gt Witch too, doing the Novice there as a first one this year as it is a JRN.

Im in the same boat as you!
Im going to do poplar and then enter with a ballot sticker so hopefully i should get in!

Thistle do they let you change up a class? How do you do that just ring up or email the secetary?

You generally don't use ballot stickers for JRN, not usually necessary.

If you want to move up a class contact the sec with as much notice as possible and pay the extra part of the entry. I usually email and if they don't reply within 2 days I phone.

2 professional riders I know always use BM as their first novice and have done for years, so i would say go for it!
