Soo, I'm heading to do a BSJA intro show at the end of August, I'm only doing the 80cm but I'm panicking already (it's like nearly 2 months away......what is my life)

First numpty question, we're not registered, so how do we go about entering on a ticket? Is this something you can do on the day? And I assume it will be on top of the class entry fee stated?

Also, the part I'm most confused about, the schedule says the class is single phase 325mpm (?!) Does this mean the second half of the round counts as the jump off? And if so, do you only go on to jump the second half if you have gone clear in the first half?
And I'm just totally clueless about the whole 325mpm thing. HELP

I jump 90cm unaffiliated regularly and yet I'm panicking hugely over this 80cm!! People have told me that BSJA is so different to unaffiliated and this has scared me a lot! What are the main differences and are there any main rules that differ greatly to unaffiliated? (the BSJA website really confused me)
Basically, how can I minimise the whole 'sticking out like a sore thumb' thing? ;)
Many thanks and sorry for all the stupid questions.

Single phase is as you described, you jump the whole course but the second half of it is timed and counts as the jump off, they will not ring a bell after the first half, everyone jumps the whole course. The 325 thing is the speed you need to jump at ,don't worry about that just keep a steady canter, you will be fine.If you don't understand anything just ask.If its anything like our local club it will be very friendly and if its open to non bs members I don't think you have to pay extra entry fees that's what its for to give you a taste of a well built course.Don't start before the bell and 2 stops and you are eliminated.Enjoy!
