He was good as gold, didn't want to clip yet but he sweating too much when working in this mild weather so had too be done.

Stuggled like hell to get the chalk to stay on his coat to mark him out, think the Outshine he gets keeps his coat extra shiny :)

Very nice Pedantic, but may I suggest a little more angle next time on his hind legs, he looks a bit as if he is wearing waders! I also think he needs his mane pulling, would complete the picture. Other than that, good straight lines and your horse looks well!

Good point about back legs, I will bear that in mind when I re-do him later in the season :)

I like a natural mane to flow in the breeze, so don't like fiddling with it whether pulling plaiting etc

Yea he is looking well, he should do, he gets totally spoilt food/supplement wise, plus he lives and gets 5 star livery, but he does get plenty of riding/jumping exercise ;)

I like my mane to flow in the breeze, or wind here, but short back and sides for my horse! I am OCD about a stray hair. Not mine I hasten to add, couldnt care a less about mine!

Wow, Dela had her 2nd clip today! No pics I'm afraid, but she was very well behaved. Our 13.2hh (evil) pony had his first clip today, and I can take a picture of the (puny) bruise on my elbow that he gave me if you like  Last winter he was as good as gold to clip, but this year it was way more fun to run around his stable, smushing me up the wall (I was holding him) as he went, giving me a bruise, not even a graze. How depressing, but the bruise is quite sore :p

Very smart clipping, he must have been so still (either that or you have a really steady hand) He has a very pretty face :)

Must be the day for it. My normally very well behaved share pony was a wally today being clipped. He ended up snatching a leg away and slicing his mum's head open. Trip to the infirmary for a check but thankfully just superficial and no lasting damage done.

Made us all think we really should wear hats all the time. Didn't even think about it :(

I don't wear a helmet to clip mine as he is excellent, but I did wear one to clip daughters pony as I haven't clipped him before, I will wear one to clip a friends next week as I haven't clipped her mare before either, if in doubt put a helmet on I say ;)

Very neat!

I did mine today - my patented 15 minute clip. Not very attractive but perfect for this time of the year, it will all come off when it gets cold (I still like to turn out naked on nice days :D )

You or the horse ?

Did similar clip for daughters Connie :)

Much neater than mine as I got kicked half way through and sort of lost interest after that! He has a lovely cheeky face. I really like him :)
