...and I feel sick!
Please could anyone clarify for me:
1. Do I need to wear a hairnet (collar-length hair which I can just about scape into a pony tail)?
2. Do gloves have to be white/ light or is black OK?
3. Can I use a regular length whip?
4. Do I have to plait my horses (unpulled) tail?

Anyone know of any good human calmers?!!

You don't have to wear a hairnet, but it does tend to keep any straggly bits in check and makes your appearance smarter.
Black gloves are fine.
I assume you can use a regular length whip.
You don't have to plait, no. Most people do, but I suppose it depends on where you are going to how many people won't bother!

Good luck, remember to breathe and smile

RE the human calmers

Kalms work a treat for me! If you can get some at lunch and start taking tonight - great! I'm fairly laid back anyway but I'm generally horizontal after a couple of doses (YO insists on feeding them to me - she thinks I suffer from anxiety!)

Thanks for that guys!
Ha ha breathing.. used to do showjumping and was always panting more than the horse by the end cos I heald my breath while I went round... don't think I'll manage that for 4 1/2 mins though!!

Firstly - Best of luck!!

If you can wear a hairnet it does look neater (my opinion only)
I prefer black gloves myself (white ones show the slightest movement of your hands)

Whip - I think is fine but haven't looked at a rule book in years
Don't have to plait - It does look neater but isn't compulsory.

Hellspells is right Kalms are good. another option is rescue remedy.

Enjoy yourself and above all have fun!.
