First ever gallop!

Just wanted to share that, after taking up riding last year, I had my first ever gallop this week!
I have been having a lesson a week for the past year, and am loving it - no other real point to the post other than I just wanted to share with other 'horsey' people who would understand!xx

Aww that's great to hear! I had my first gallop last week too but it came from a spook so wasn't planned lol. Was still good to belt across the field for a bit though My boy is young and is learning to canter properly with a rider on his back so we are not at the gallop stage yet. Good luck with your riding, it's a great hobby x

It the most amazing thing. Mine took off with me up a lane (later discovered that previous loaner would use said lane for a gallop!). Totally got the bug. Its my favourite thing in the world!
