Off of dizzy not ever haha! Usually I have a notoriously sticky bum but this one caught me out massively! We were going down a bridle path in walk and she was a little fresh but listening however and this is my fault for bad positioning my friend was on her pony in front and dizzy has such a big walk I think she was getting a little fustrated! We got to the end of the bridle and by this point we were doing very collected shoulder ins in trot of her own accord. I keeping the reins very soft and just pushing her on gently with voice and leg when all of a sudden her head disappeared my thought was she was going to buck so I braced myself for that and then she reared and spun so quickly I went out the side door on the second plunge
I got up and she had run into the bush (daft mare) and got herself more tangled and fustrated and trying to get her out was ridiculous because she wouldn't stop rearing! She was terrified and trembling when I got her out and she seemed to calm down while I rubbed her ears when all of a sudden she reare AGAIN it was huge and pulled me off of the ground and I had to let go and she obviously thought stuff this and galloped off in the direction of home! I have never ran so hard my life she was heading straight for a busy roundabout and all I could think was I was going to find her down in the road!!! Then a little miracle happened some incredibly brave man pulled over and caught my horse ( he must of been 70) and was walking back down the bridle path with her he had even rolled the stirrups up! I have never been so relieved in my life. Dizzy was still in a state but we walked back to the end of the bridle path and I jumped back on (this is not easy with a 16.3 fizzed up tb) she did calm and I rode her on the buckle on the way home. We have such a long way to go but how cuddly she was in the stable after makes it worth it
