First first in dressage ever!!

My boy who this time last year was lame and we did not know if I would ever ride him again has just won a first in a walk trot test. Yes I know its only a walk trot test, but he had a very nasty ddft tear in a hind and he is now going better than ever. He is barefoot, diet changed, new saddler, barefoot trimmer and its obviously all making a difference, the guy giving out the rosettes could not understand the huge smile on my face but it has been a long road. Now we need to strengthen and improve the canter for Prelim next time. Thanks to all the support and advice on here!

Well done, I can totally understand how pleased you are! It may not seem a lot to some, but when you think they won,t even be ridden again, its a big achievement!
