Hello All,
The riding school I ride at is holding it's annual gymkana this weekend and I will be taking part on one of the riding school horses. The classes will be mixed between riding school and privately owned horses, and will include both internal and external judges.
I haven't competed since I was a kid so I am not sure exactly how these things work, and wondered if anyone had any general tips or guidance on any of the classes I will be taking part in. I will be doing the following:
1) Best Turned Out
2) Equitation
3) Working Hunter
4) Show Jumping
5) Dressage Prelim
I am familiar with what to expect for show jumping as we have show jumping nights at the yard quite often, however I have never seen or taken part in the other classes so I have no idea what to expect. Any tips or advice would be much appreciated
