First hack after work tonight :-)) and a proud mummy post

Had a absolutely gorgeous hack tonight after work, shot out of work at ten to six and was up at yard and out riding by twenty to seven. Didn't go far but it was so warm and sunny it is such a stress buster after a day at work.

Also I just want to say how proud I am of our boy (I share him with my best friend) as he lost his friend on Tuesday and I can't get over how calm he's been. We thought he'd be hysterical as when she was alive he couldn't bear to be away from her, especially hacking out. Yet tonight he hacked out on his own with no problems, we've had no running round field or whinny's and he is so settled it's untrue. We did let him see her body though which I think helps and also have kept him in his normal routine xx

Its lovely isn't it, I rode both of mine tonight after work, had a really busy week and it was a lovely de-stress, roll on more and more and more summer and nice weather.

Nice to hear your horse is coping so well with losing his chum

up at the yard tonight just sat on the fence watching them eating until nearly 9 tonight !

Oh im loving these warm sunny evenings and im sure my horse is too - it doesnt seem two minutes since we weren all battling snow, mud and the cold!!!
Glad you ahd a good time - and that your horse has got over his loss x

Definately the best thing to do after a long day at work! I'm very lucky to be living and working very close to where my horse is, so can finish work at 5 and be out riding by 6!
