My son went for his first hack in company last night, but there were people in the field we ride in flying a kite so it was a very short hack
. He enjoyed it thought that's the main thing.

Thats really cool, how old is your son? Does he have his own neddy? Or is he riding yours?
I hope when I have kids, they take up an interest in horses too, it'd make my life much easier!

Well done to him, you'll have to buy a kite and fly it in your pony/horses field, I do all sorts of bizzare things to get my younster used to things....get some strange looks but its quite fun!

He's 14 and riding my pony. He has had lessons but our last pony threw him off in a lesson and then attacked him on another occasion in the stable. Its taken him along time to get this far but we got there in the end

Good idea, it was more the other horse that was scared than mine but think I'll give that a go.
