you sound much more organised than me when i bought my first horse so dont worry too much, as long as you have the essentials you can buy everything else as and when you need it.
when my pony was delivered to the yard i had to ask the owner if i could have their headcollar and lead rope as i didnt have one! ha ha! the look on their faces - they must have wondered what kind of home they were selling her to!!
if you dont have something that is essential for day one (like a headcollar and leadrope
) then im sure someone will lend you it and then you can buy it the next day.
