First hunt Ride

Well today our local (ish) hunt did a hunt fun ride So off we toddled over with Stella and Sandy to see how the pair of them would be I was pretty sure how Stella would be as shes done a fair few rideouts now and is getting to be suh a good wee girly, Sandy was an unknown but he proved to be a complete superstar

We got there really early got them tacked up and ready to go and headed off to the meet, met some lovely folks took a few pics then headed off. We jumped all the jumps that were available and had a great time. Looking forwards to another one which they are hoping to run later on when the ground is summer firm and the fields arent being readied for spring grazing/crops

Cant wait for our first XC of the year now at the beginning of May and our first Rideout at the end of May

Your pony looks cute, love the TB he's a cracker, could do with a bit more condition on him but I'm sure the grass will sort that if it finally decides to grow

That one was quite tame, we wanted something not too fast for the big mans first canters in mass company. They are going to do another one later on in the year

Stop picking. You don't know the horse or the rider- I believe? The horse could be a nutter on too much hard feed, he may not hold his weight with even ad lib forage .... Who knows. Certainly not the worst I've seen.

If the horse can not hold it's weight then it requires a lighter rider, it does not need to be the worst you have seen to be right.
