Lesson was at 1pm, soooo hot! Fly had small wound to inside of leg so wasn't going to go but after conversation with vet decided to go for it. He was stiff in the neck but to be honest he tried so hard for me. It was pretty obvious he hasn't been schooled for a couple of years, his leg yields were speedy, he fell in at the shoulder every time. His trot was stilted, couldn't get him to extend up the long side of the school. He gave more in canter, struck off on the correct leg every time and was very balanced. We tried a few jumps and he was so honest. Really pleased, needed a good ride today, confidence much better than yesterday!

i used to own fly! i had him for seven years i used him for sj and dressage. i sold him to buy a youngster so i could concentrate just on dressage.i sold him two years ago, he is by a horse called holland. when i sold him he was obedient but he always liked to buck i new what he was like so well as i had had him so long, he didn't nap but would buck when excited not too bad as he got older.
