there is a mare that i have been riding for a while now, and she and i have really enjoyed our time together, she was a nervous jelly wreck when i first rode her and now she happily works in the school, jumps small fences and has finally accepted that there is not a monster in the corner of the stable! she is shortly becoming available for loan, and i am seriously considering taking her, and i would love to see this journey through. i am 28 and this will be my first horse on loan so i am a bit unsure of what i need to sort out beforehand. can anyone give me any advice? i assume a contract will be drawn up between myself and the owner, but is there anything i need to include that i may not have already thought about?
i am sorry if it's a bit of a vague question, i don't know too much about loaning horses at all, so need a few shoves in the right direction!
