First Mini HT

I've actually done it and entered a mini HT this weekend. I bought my boy for dressage but turns out he quite enjoys jumping and I'm slowly getting braver, so I've entered and realised I've not really a clue!

What do I wear?
Is it 3 refusals for elimination and what are the general rules?
I'm also doing the pairs with YO's daughter - seemed like a good idea when entering - any do's and dont do's?

Oh have fun!

Remember your body protector and check if you need a medical card.

When walking the pairs course, find out which are the dressing fences as you get penalised for not doing those as a pair (i.e. side by side).

Good luck! General rules-go over the fence? Not sure on penalties for run out/refusing etc. Arrange before you go who's going to be in front/if there are any fences where you need to swap order etc.

If I need a medical card, what needs to be on it?

name, address, phone number, doctors name and number etc.you can pick them up in local tack shops
