First new forum AAD post

Well, this is fun.

In other news, last night a certain bloody husky managed to open a drawer with a childproof catch and eat an entire packet of Pedigree schmackos. The bright orange poo fountain this morning provided me with hours of entertainment.

I dunno where the sarcastic smiley is, just imagine my face. :p
 
So have all the posts from soapbox gone (not looked yet). Is anyone elses inbox showing 100% full, seems to hold far less messages on here.
If we're quick maybe we can take over before the spangles get here.
Ok another numptie question, how do I add a smiley ? (imagine embarrassed smiley here).
 
Some of the smilies are the same codes as last forum. Or they are in the box when you click post reply....I don't seem to be able to do a quick reply :confused:

I.e. what happened with my Carpal/tunnel status? Senior member, makes me feel as if I'm older than what I am

At first the smiley looking for its lost rabbit, was just an image code in my siggy and at the bottom of the page where I can change my siggy, there is a list of both this and that followed by Yes, but in the end there was something about showing smileys in signatures (as I understood it) followed by No and yet, now I can see smileys in signatures?





Besides I don't understand how people manage to post and reply so quickly, I've barely managed to figure out how to make HHO continue to send me e-mail notifications when somebody reply to one of my replies. At least I hope I've managed to figure it out, I did find a box in my user settings that was default set on not sending e-mail notifications that I've changed, only to find that there is a similar notification box below this quote-reply box...

AND THEN WHEN I TRIED TO PREVIEW, THEY TELL ME I CAN ONLY POST FOUR SMILEYS PER REPLY! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, TAKE ME BACK TO THE OLD FORUM!

MM - for the smileys you need to go to your User CP - go to edit options - scroll down to the bottom and there is a box at the bottom with a drop down click on the adcanced options and you will get smilies - there aren't as many and not as good as we are used to and you can only post four at a time.:(

Sorry was testing if I can quote because I really can't figure out why I can't do a QR! Only 4 smilies per post! That sucks :mad:
 
Yea slinks, when I click the icon it doesn't activate the text box, it doesn't do anything :( Perhaps its my browser?

Harvey has chewed my mother in law's Mother's Day present! Oooops. It's now a bit of foliage, no longer a flowering plant! lol

I appear to now have a very old username. I've not been Baileys_mom for about 4 years. Spot who didn't read the sticky until it was too late?
