Put the lad out tonight, he looked a bit confused as to why am I going back out at 6pm, I should be tucked up in bed.

He has company either side and they weren't interested in the slightest in him, he couldn't contain his excitement and whilst still munching kept leaping with all four feet off the floor and having a little squeal.

Hopefully he will still be where I left him in the morning in one piece :)

Whats your routine, in/out etc.

:)

Mine is in at night through the summer.
My mare is out with 2 geldings owned by the same girl. The lil pony she has was diagnosed with metabolic syndrome so he can't live out, overnight would just be too long. So its easier for her to have them both on the same routine, and my mare won't stay out on her own. Tbh her stable gets so hot in summer shes better off out for the day and in at night otherwise she will get too fat! Shes already really porky..

Mine have been out for a few weeks at night now unrugged. They are in at night and out during the day during the winter.

When it gets hotter and the flies are bothering them they will come in during the day and go out at night for the summer.

I don't do single turnout and they are out in the field together (kept at home).

Mine are out now. One still has a rug on at night, because she is pathetic, and was fully clipped.

My mare has been out since Tuesday night and it is the first night out for the gelding tonight. It is the first night of being unrugged for the mare tonight, but gelding has gone out with a lightweight on as he was fully clipped in winter and it hasn't fully grown back yet. I love it when they're out 24/7 - much more natural for them.

Yes I put a lw Amigo rug on him as he was fully clipped December and felt a bit mean chucking him out naked on his first night of freedom. I am looking forward to having a nice quiet rising 5yo to hack out tomorrow instead of a snorting dragon. I can but dream :)

Should have mentioned that one of mine had three full clips during the winter, two are retired and unclipped and four had chaser clips. All have been unrugged for some time now.
