Got a choice of....

Borde Hill- never been, know nothing
Great Tew- heard good things but it is supposed to be quite up to height and challenging
West Wilts- loathed to go there because hate the ground there and I feel the courses dont flow that well
Longleat- quite a test if I remember right, though I'm not adverse to that if the course flows

Any comments welcomed! Horse should be fine with the height but wont cope with overly technical or things like big jumps into water or big trakehners quite yet.
 
but you've already jumped the novice trakehner on her at SLM

sorry not any help, but i'm aiming for the novice at SLM and thinking it might be a step to far

Borde Hill - no idea, making my first trip there this time!
Great Tew - I did the novice there 2 years ago. It's a fab event, but the xc is definitely up to height with enough questions. Not ideal for first run I wouldn't say.
West Wilts - usually quite educational tracks - not overly big, although she SJ always seems big there for some reason
Longleat - not sure!

I'm thinking of Wilton novice for Hen's first run. Not for a couple of months yet!

I was planning on Stonar as her first but I cant stay at PN for much longer, I'm getting bored- need more of a challenge!

I was thinking of staying at PN for Longleat - West Wilts always has plenty of altenatives though which makes it good.
I thought Pontispools novice was really nice depends when your exams are. I really liked Stonar think I will be aiming for that and Nutwell which I also thought was really nice Novice.

Did Longleat Novice a few years ago (admittedly Novices over-all have got more technical since then), it was really straight-forward. However I'm not a huge fan of the ground there unless they get some rain before.

Would agree. Unless theyve done a major overhall GT isnt overly technical just big timber.
Think theres two angle hedges at fence 4 which jump pretty well, and the drop to skinny which i didnt see one horse run out at.
The double of angled houses actually jump better than first seen and the rest is straightforward just a big table a roll top about two strides away from the pond and a fence out.
Def worth taking her i think.
