Hello! Can anyone recommend any good clippers? Looking for my first pair purely at this time of year for feather trimming but obviously something that would be suitable for a fuller clip depending on her work as she develops, I don't know where to start! Thanks very much xxx

P.S. I will not be using them alone, but would like my own pair to learn with instruction.

For some very good impartial advice, give www. c l i p p e r s h a r p. c o m a look. they have a great selection with all the blades to suit different uses as well. I always recommend them as have dealt with them for many years whilst in the trade. Think about the machine you go for, try and avoid any cheap Chinese machines, go for a known brand such as Heinegar or Lister. If your horse is nervous, you may need to get a quieter machine so as not to spook him/her. The heinegar machines tend to run quieter than the listers in my opinion. The Heinegar handy is a good first time machine, or the Lister Star. Heinegar also have the new Xperience out which is very good and heavier duty, but small to hold for easier clipping.

Any further advice, check out some of my older posts, or PM me.

Regards

Ian
