I can say I Do Not Think it was a good thing to do.
Well thank you, I can assure you I have my perfect horse, who is more capable than me, and all the stuff I need to go with him, so its not jealousy, I do not aspire to ride round badminton.
Who said the world came to an end? Who said he shouldn't have won? He performed the best over three phases therefore he won.
He dropped his reins, I think it is a bad thing. You can have your opinion. I will have mine. Respect it, as I said earlier. If you can't respect that,(which it appears you can't..) then don't expect replies.

Yehh we're all allowed our opinions, y'know like I think all babies should be drowned...yeh we're allowed opinions alright, but not when they are utter tripe.

I think a horse competing at 4* level is sufficiently balanced enough to canter on a loose rein! FFS when I'm riding my 6 year old I can drop the reins in canter and he doesn't fall flat on his face.
I was watching an Emile Faurie demo on H&C TV the other night and he does the same thing, didn't see anyone slagging him off on here, and he just didn't win Badminton either!
