Slightly delayed report as disappeared off on holiday straight after the event last week but deserves a proper report!
Total and utter dream come true. Ever since I rode my first dressage test many many years ago I set my lifetime ambition to ride a PSG test in a tailcoat. Well finally those dreams came true and with a little horse who initially I bought to hunt and regain my confidence on SJ. He has so exceeded all my expectations in so many ways, taking me to Badminton Grassroots 3 times and now to PSG. 3 years ago we were doing Novice!
We even managed to score 61.18% and get our first point at PSG. We got 7's for one of our trot half passes and our final halt. Judge commented that Monty had a great work ethic. More than I ever imagined! And there were mistakes so there is definitely more to come from us both! Officially now a Group 3 rider and all because of this amazing amazing little horse with the biggest heart in the world. Literally absolutely and totally adore him. He also managed to win the bronze section of the AM91 with 65.5% so we came home with 2 red rosettes and a massive grin! Don't suppose anyone else there was out hunting last week jumping hedges as their preparation. Best horse ever my Monts! Bursting with pride. Can't wait to have another go now!
