first real hunt tomoz

woop woop off to my very first meet tomoz (i have been mock hunting). it is earlier than i planned but i think we are ready. tack is gleaming horse is clean, plaited and fit, the lorry is all loaded up, hip flaskes filled (one for each pocket), just gathering up my clothes hooray so excited will give a full report tomoz much love to you all xxxxxxxxxxx

My daughter unfortunately joined the 'tumblers club'. She is ok but has a bruised leg where Manni kicked her as he moved away from her when she fell off (he did not kick her on purpose).

We have to pay £10 fine for falling off - it will all be given to the Lincs Air Ambulance at the end of the season.

im all safe and sound although falling asleep as i type this as i ended up pritty much staying out all day. from what i can gather i ended up joining one of the fastest hunts this season for the first hour or two it was all go, galloping for what seemed forever which i have to admit was amazing but it soon thinned out the field only a small group off us where left for the real fun. my plans of staying at the back soon went out the window as mono helped and guided me along (or should i say carried me like an express train). really proud of her though as she stayed all the time i was out and my friend who was driving me said she looked the same at the end as she did when seting off. we ended up jumping which wasnt the plan but again mono knew the job and took care off me. she is now all tucked up in her stable with an extra large feed after a nice hot sponge off and cold hosed legs that are now all bandaged up.

all in all
an amazing yet knackering day and i cant wait for the next time

I had to miss hunting today as my little truck has to have a new radiator on Monday - so I went to do a fitness test at BritMilFit in york. So I'm equally tired, but had much less fun!
