First real taste of winter!!

I am sure I am not alone in the fact i was dragging in two soaked horses across the fields today, with the rain going sideways across the land. I filled haynets, got them tucked up in their stables, fed them, refilled haynets and there they stayed til the rain stopped. Within 1/2 hour they were nearly dry, I took 2 hours and a change of clothes to be dry - how long til the spring??

I'm pony-less at the moment and shopping for a new one so i'm not suffering the start of winter yet but i'm not liking this weather!! Bring on spring i say
