Took D just to do the BN today as apart from Thursday when i took him schooling he has not jumped since November!
Got there perfect time which never usually happens!
Warmed up and walked the course there was some nasty angles in the way it was not very flowing and one particular jump (red and white spread pictured) caught a lot out as it was a right anglled turn around one fence away from the wall onto it- someone had a fall and others stoped at that.
Took him could not warm up very well but jumped a lovely clear (altho rider was not tidy!!)
Was really chuffed and as there were only a few more after me i kept him walkin round to take in the jump off 1/2 hour later we were waiting for this girl who had rbought TWO horses in right at the end to warm them up and then take them round
luckily he stayed awake and was thrid last to go in the JO there was no easy route through the JO fences so had to pull him round a bit but he did a nice clear (albeit not as fast as everyone else- but that does not matter - he is an eventer afterall
