Hey finally got round to taking my girl to her first showing class today she was fab, behaved well and was totally unphased. We got 4th out of 10 / 12 people so im more than happy :)
Here are some photos anyway. What do you think??.... do we have potential for medium weight? ( It was a mixed hunter class today ) The first three were huge made mine look like a pony at 16.3 ! :)

Well done. she is beautiful and looks in great condition. No idea about what class she should be in as i am not a showing type, but that chestnut that one looks mahoosive in the pic of the line up.
what show was that?

Ahh thanks guys :)
The chestnut was HUGE she won , her horse moved beautifully so light for such a big horse ...It must have been nearly 18 hh for sure :) It was Eccleshall show in staffordshire

Ditch Jumper ..

Your horse is stunning !! So shiny !!
I totally agree i dont want to be a small middle weight if i could be a big light weight ..She is 16.3 with 9 1/2 inches of bone but carries quite a lot of body...Would i be eligible for LW??

Thank you. That was taken at the evening performance at P UK last year. All the floodlights made him very shiny!!! He is 16.2 1/2 with the same amount of bone as your mare. He certainly did not look big compared to the others. I would try L/W. The judge will advise you if he thinks you are in the wrong class.

We also once went in small hunter class by mistake..........we were in a hurry and thought it was our class. He didn't look over big in that either believe it or not!!!
