Today and was I smiling!! I really enjoyed it and I can still ride (well about as well as I could before!!), but was rather puffed after 30 mins and am sure I'll ache tomorrow. I was like an excited little child this morning.

Pointless post really but it was just so nice to sit on a horse again. Now I just to need to get my riding fitness back up and get my first ride on Herbie in a week or so. After 5 years of waiting that is something I'm really looking forwrd too.

And after giving birth only 7 weeks ago I got my jods on and done up (bit of a squeeze

), so I quite pleased about that too.

Glad you had a lovely ride, I remember how excited I was to ride again - I hadn't ridden for almost 2 years as I got preg one after t'other and then my back was sooo bad

to be fair I could really have done with loosing a stone before getting preggas so was not exactly streamlined, which means I still have to loose that now, but all the weight I put on from the pregnancy has gone. I think this was down to breastfeeding the hungriest baby and being rather sick a few times with what they think is gallstone, altough I could've happily done with out that bit!!

Well done you, and I can share in your excitement cos I've been riding this weekend for the first time after having my baby in November (7 weeks -eek). So I'm grinning from ear to ear too. It's been almost 9 months since my mare was last ridden and she was good as gold - soooooo chuffed.

Must be something in the water this weekend as I rode my mare for the first time today after having my baby in november. It was lovely, she's an oap but doesnt know it and we had a lovely jig jog out. I'm impressed you're back in the saddle already,I am only just figuring out which ways up!!
Mind you I found out that I cant get into my leather boots now as my calfs have expanded and my boots cut off the blood. :-(
Going to get them strectched and hope they fit after that!! Could be a good reason to go shopping. :-)
