First Ride Of Rescue Pony :)

Quick update from me, after 6 weeks of groundwork, lunging and inhand work introducing tack etc I have finally got onto my girl and ridden. As we are unsure of her history, we have been treating her as a 4 year old. I can safely say she has definately been ridden before, she walks nicely off my leg and stands when asked. So very pleased with her.

She looks more like a racehorse than a pony, how big is she?

How did you come by her?

I didn't know you couldn't not know the age of a horse nowadays with passports do folk not bother?

She is rising 9 but we were unsure of what she had done in the past, so we took her back to basics as if she were a 4 year old. We have been told she is a trotter cross and was from Gypsy's, I have her on permanent loan from a local rescue. Sorry I tend to call all the horses ponies lol she is 15'2hh
