just had to share with you all.
Willow was a super star as expected.

Although she hasnt fully grasped the leg aids, or hand aids (for turning) - ill give her a little time yet to grasp that as its only the 3rd tim ive sat on her lol

, but she is going off voice commands and is starting to look for a contact.

I sat on her for the 1st time 2 wks ago but have been ill since then so got back on for the 2nd time yesterday and again tonight. she was a bit tense last night as a fellow HHO can tell you but she was still very well behaved.
well tonight mum lunged her in walk with me on then i went off for a little wander round on my own.

she is such a genuine little horse - so glad i bred her. from previous comments on here, she may not be the best looking girl around or have the best conformation, but shes a grand little girl whos behaving impeccably.

Well done!!!

JoBo its an amazing feeling. Shes my first homebred so i think its making it even more special than the previous ones ive backed.

Hmmm where IS that green smiley! You can't post on here about how easy you're finding it to back your horse - especially not one as cute as Willow.
Seriously though , it sounds like she's going to be a really good horse...wonder if your mum will be convinced to have a another foal as she is doing so well?

aw bless ya hun, thanks she is a cutey or i think so but im biased lol.

wouldnt take much to convince mum breeding another is a good idea, but she has said if i do, ive got to sell one. By process of elimination theres only 1 I could sel,l which is Chant, And although she was a complete baggage at the weekend i nor mum want to sell her so another baby is out of the question unless someone on here can come up with a plan that i can put to her
