Can anyone recommend a good first saddle for a youngster? Excellent conf, although he is bound to change shape so either something easy to reflock/modify or something that will hold value and can be sold on as and when. I have considered a wintec and such, but I really don't find them too comfortable (for me

). Obviously don't want to spend a fortune, I think something a little more forward cut may be good, so I can be prepared for baby bucks and spooks lol.

Any thoughts much appreciated! x

buy the best you can afford which fits him! and be prepared to change it as req as he will continue to grow and fill out for next couple of years! he needs to be comfortable to enjoy his early ridden work! try to keep his weight a constant dont allow to balloon in spring, and re assess every 4 to 6 months as to fit as he will change a lot!

My plan with my youngster is to get a 2nd hand devoucoux (around the 1k mark hopefully) as it can be altered to fit, I've already got one on my grown up TB and find it fab for sitting broncs in
