First Samaii coloured colt foal!!

Just took some photos today of Samaii's first coloured colt foal - he is 6 days old & looks just like his Dad!!

His mum is a 20 year old ISH mare by Euphemism / Crafty Codger & she has done him fantastically well - he was 46" to the withers when he was born & still needs to unfold a bit more!

Thanks very much - he is the second of the 2 foals to be born in the UK this year, Volatis' Oriana, a tobiano filly, is the other one.

Now looking forward to his 2009 babies!

I love Samii. Will be interesting to see what else he produces this year. How many foals does he have due?

No more foals due this year, it was a last minute decision to breed with him last year!!

He has quite a few due in Germany next year & we have just had confirmation of a Blue Hors Romancier mare scanned in foal in Denmark.

He is now approved by the DV - Danish warmblood, which is very good news!!

Only one mare has been covered in the UK, but that should be a nice foal, she is by Gribaldi.
