First shoot of the season!

A couple of weeks back, OH is normally shy of having his photo on the forum, I reckon he think's he's unrecogniseable in a cap - although he also thinks he's morphed into his grandfather when he wears it!

First day of the season, Jazz the springer was perfect as ever, she is six now and realy coming good, beating and retreiving. Freddie was - no other way of putting it - useless! All the gear no idea. OH said he wasn't gun shy, but as soon as everyone started shouting and waving sticks, he was gone, can only assume that it triggered something in his tiny brain that we don't know about - we got him in May, when he was 18 months old, and we are his fourth home at least, the two before were both shooting homes.

Anyway, pic, OH looking excited, Jazz looking eager, Freddie looking - well, his eyes are open anyway!!

SA - no, we have never met, but another HHO, Kareef, is a friend of RW and we bought a horse from Kareef - it's complicated!

I don't do anything shooting related - well, clays a couple of times, OH shoots and beats locally, since he was a tacker, like you this is his favourite time of the year!

Number plate was my b'day pressie a few years ago, the van has JA53 (jase) DOG on it!

RW - the 8th may be a no go, my knee was operated on successfully a year ago has had massive relapse, been back to Dr and off to physio on the 6th - so swollen I can't walk up the stairs, will have to let you know for sure a lot closer to the date. Hate my knee, been a problem now for 28 years!
