I posted a thread last week about taking my little boy to his first show. Well we went yesterday and he got a 6th in the best condition and a 7th in the youngstock class. I was quite pleased as he was up against all the big horses and they were big classes. The judge kept calling him that little fallabella ( He's not a fallabella but an American miniature horse ) but never mind!!! He travelled well and behaved as best to be expected for his tender age of 10 months and we were in the ring over an hour so im well pleased!

Aww he is the cutest! Well done! What colour is he? I know that sounds sooo stupid but he changed so much after the clip...I went to a miniature stud a few years ago, and there was a mare who looked just like him..awww

Awwww he is so cute, what an amazing colour! Love your trailor, isnt he a lucky boy having his own luxury personalised transport!

his colour is silver dapple. He should go chocolate though so his body will be a chocolate brown dapple with a pure white mane and tail. His colour is already starting to come through now so i cant wait!!

Thanks for the compliments everyone!!

Oooh I'm not sure I'm allowed to say this but a breeder friend asked if I knew anyone who wants a show quality stallion. They've got a close relative of his as their breeding stallion so this little man is looking for a nice new home. He could be gelded, I think he's five, he has sired a few foals and produces desirable colours and as far as I know the price is very very reasonable to a super home!

Please PM me if you're interested and I'll find out if he's still looking for a new place.

CotswoldsSJ. In answer to your question YES we did have to adapt the trailer!! The dealership we bought it from adapted it for us. Basically we still have the partition down the middle but everything is lowered. Attachements were welded on the centre pole that enabled the original swinging partitions to be lowered to the floor and removed the rubber skirts. They then just added extra attachments so we could lower the breastbars. Then made in fills for the breast bars that fix into the floor to stop him trying to get underneath. It is fantastic really!!
