Catrine show will be my first show with my new horse Willow who i got in September of last year. Catrine show is on May 5th i am planning on doing Ridden coloured and a show jumping class.

Okay so Ridden coloured i have never done a ridden coloured before and i know a few things now as i have asked previous questions about it on hear but i have some new questions.
Plain brow band or a velvet browband?
I am getting a brand new saddle this week and it is brown not havanna (Picture at end of Post). Is it okay to have a brown bridle and saddle?
I am going to put her in a flat hunter bridle is this okay?
Brown sheepskin half pad or Brown numnah?
Brown long boots or Black long boots?
Pelham with double reins or Is a Pelham with roundings acceptable?

I would use a plain browband, saddle is very smart. A flat hunter bridle is ideal.

Either the half pad or numnah, whichever fits her best with the saddle.

Double reins, or if you are happier use a snaffle if she goes well in it but no roundings on the pelham.

Your boots can be brown or black, I prefer black and feel it is more correct although people do sometimes wear brown if that is what you have wear them.

Thanks :) I am getting a flat hunter bridle to match my saddle next week along with long black boots.

Should i wear a brown tweed jacket or a green one?

Green is my preference, brown is rather dull, most colours go well with green so you can wear a bright tie to brighten things up.

All this shopping sounds fun but rather expensive.

My mum said the same thing. Were not buying everything at once :L Just the saddle and bridle next week which have been planned on for a while. Jacket and boots we will get later. All ready have everything else which is good :) As i already to showjumping with her.
