I am going out with Bruce SJ for the first time since last March (argh!) owing to the transport (or lack of) problem I had this summer...

We are only going unaffiliated as I really cannot put myself throgh affiliated if I am going to be embarrased....sooooooo

We are schooling over 1.20 courses at home. I have a lesson at my trainers on Saturday and we will probably do a 1.10 course.

The SJ on Sunday has a 90cm and a 1.05.

Shall I do the 90, or the 105 or both?

Argh!

I would take the pressure off and do the 90cm and if still really keen you can then decide whether to do the 105cm.

Good luck and remember it's meant to be fun !!

QR, are you going Merrist Wood CL? I would do both, then you can use the first as a practice round.

Yup are you?

*wants to hide as may be embarrased by bruce*

Oh dont hide! Im trying to get there to take the scarab Ive posted a few pics of. Only the baby class but I tend to loiter...
*if I do go, I will want to hide after my round but wont be able to as my trailer tower is bright yellow*

Dont tell me-youre actually quite excited about going jumping again...and how will you embarrass yourselves?

dont feel embarrassed, and try and be confident. Remember that its supposed to be fun. Dont decide which classes until you are in the warm up...see how he goes in the 90cm and go from there...just remember to sit up, keep your hands up, look at where your going, dont launch yourself forward and ride queitly...if possible keeping to or getting back inot a trot all the way around, unless your more comfortable in a canter.
Im sure you will be just fine.....let us know how it goes! Good luck

If you have been jumping 1.20 courses then you will find it tiny. I would always do 2 classes. I find they tend to be more settled in the 2nd class (well, mine does anyway!) and I am also more relaxed so it tends to go much nicer.

Good luck!
