Well the excitement has turned to nerves as I thought it would- LOL.
Normally I would expect to be nervous on the morning we were going but that queezy (sp?) feeling actually started on Friday!!!!!!!!
I had a lesson last night after work and even though she was far from an easy ride, I still think she went well and we jumped quite a big parallel at the end (big for us anyway!) So I feel much happier this morning than I did on Friday which is odd!
I never thought I'd jump this horse again let alone get to a show so it is a big occasion for us today. I really hope we both go well. Will have to keep chanting 'sit up, hands down' the whole way round the course. Might get some odd looks though!
Will let you know how we got on later.

good luck and don't worry about chanting that, I quite often do that and it does work so don't worry about anyone else

If I'm having a really bad day then I get my friends to shout sit up at the right places too

no don't worry you're not on your own there!
good luck just go there with a view of enjoying yourself, don't worry about what anyone else thinks, and have a ball

I managed a 2'6" course last year, it wasn't pretty but we got round with one stop (my fault it was a pink pigs fence and I was like WTF is that!) quite a few shrieks, but we came 5th in the class and I was over the moon

so as you can imagine I really don't worry about what other people think as long as me and Pidge are enjoying ourselves

let us know how you get on?

You're bound to be a bit nervous as it's been a while since you've been out jumping. You've had a lesson to brush up on things so just go out there & enjoy yourself. Good Luck

Don't worry about the chanting - I sing when I go round. Hopefully not loud enough for people watching to hear, but my poor horse has to put up with it!
I hope you have a really good time.

Thanks everyone. Pidge - that was great - really well done.
TZ thanks - I feel much better after my lesson last night and am trying to stay calm (trying anyway).
lzt - I am at Centurian today - its a trailblazers show I think. I'm planning a little trip to Holmside on a Thursday night in a couple of weeks if all goes well today. I see you jumped your horse yesterday so well done for that. We're all getting going again.
H - I have been known to break into song too but its not very tuneful I have to admit - I don't think Simon Cowell will be snatching me up - LOL.
Will let you know how we get on later.
Bye for now.
