First solo hack :D

So my first hack on belle wasn't great, she got a bit tense, I got a bit tense she got a bit worst and I got a lot worst. Thankfully my friend Love was with me and she sorted me out
Went out in company and she walked at 100 miles an hour but started to slow towards the end.

Then today we went it alone! Not far at all but I was very pleased with her! Totally chilled and nothing phased her! Walking at the buckle most of the time and had a lovely smooth trot!

Lol love piccie . when i started hacking my little mare if she got tense i sang. bibbity bobbity song from cinderella is good as can sing low and sliw AND it gets you breathing and relaxing and not fixing on horse

Babymare - I might try that! I was singing while mucking out and she seemed chilled but I did get an odd look from my yard owner lol

The main is it gets oxygen in to your blood and helps yor musckes to relax plus your not fixed on what horse is doing and with baby i could use the tone and speed of singing to calm her. may sound silly but was shown it 34 years ago and have sung whilst schooling to get rythum. . give it a try find a sing you like and use it as "our calming song " x
