Louie hack.jpgHappy, happy post :) as at last I managed to have a lovely solo hack out on my little cob for the first time in three years. I had to stop riding due to severe arthritis and had a total hip replacement last year. It has taken me a while to feel strong and balanced enough to ride again but it has been wonderful getting back on board. My little cob has been continuing his training with his amazing professional rider and trainer getting 67.5% in BD Advanced Medium 98 a couple of weeks ago  but is still sensible enough to take his creaky owner out and about :D

Bet you couldn’t wipe the smile off your face. Well done you and if you are sore tomorrow it will remind you, as if you needed it, what a top day you had today.

Thank-you, yes - I've been smiling all day :). I have had a very small number of short toddles out with other people but this was the first time it was just me and little cob. He was marching out really nicely on a long rein so we both stayed relaxed and enjoyed just being 'tourists' together!
